It is easy to get frustrated with life and see things in a negative light. It’s not hard going down the rabbit hole of reasons on “why life sucks so bad.”
Ever since I got sober from smoking marijuana though, I’ve been doing my best to practice daily gratitude. And, now that we are in the season of gratitude, I thought it would be great to write down all the things I am grateful for.

- My niece and nephew and listening to them laugh
- Being employed at a company with authentic and friendly people, where I also receive benefits like PTO and health care (and get to work from home!)
- My health
- My ability to run and train for marathons.
- Cool crisp fresh air
- A morning routine
- A sleep routine
- Clean, safe water to drink
- Free laundry at my apartment complex
- The ability to live and breathe.
- My new feather down comforter and helps me get good sleep

- A stable Internet connection so that I can work, attend grad school online, and blog.
